The Cameo Journey is rooted in the meeting of two kindred spirits, Cecilia & Margherita, friends for more than twenty years and united by a deep sense of shared beauty. Though separated by an ocean - Cecilia in the vibrant pulse of New York and Margherita in the enchanted quiet of the hills outside Bologna, they have nurtured their bond with care and intention. Each year, they reunite in Italy to seek out those 'tucked away' corners and rediscover the pleasure of a conversation that nourishes the soul.
This ritual of affection and gratitude generated the idea of Cameo: an invitation to slow down, shed your daily roles, and be wrapped in the subtle magic of a more sincere Italy. Joining them is Filippo, a Roman in Milan and an events professional. With a passionate background for art, design and architecture, he serves as our curator, ensuring that the atmosphere of every journey is curated with impeccable grace.
For us, Italy isn’t just a destination—it’s a sensory mosaic. From the scent of wild rosemary in a secret garden to the vibrant yellow of lemons on a sun kissed terrace, every region tells a story through its quiet sanctuaries.
